Die Commonwealth Games in der Stadt und tausende von Touristen und Schaulustigen. Gleichzeitig fand auch das 2006 Melbourne Cultural Festival statt, was wie ich finde eine sehr gute Idee war diese beiden Events zusammen zu legen.
Es war also jeden Tag soviel los in der Stadt, Musik, Tanz, Kunstvorfuehrungen, Ausstellungen, Zirkus, viele Buehnen mit Livemusik usw.

The 2006 Melbourne Cultural Festival took place in the same time, what was an excellent idea to put these two events together, I believe. So many things to do every day e.g. music, dance, art shows, exhibitions, circus, lots of stages with live music etc.
